“I Am Still Buzzing”: A Trainee’s Reflections on Module Two of the INPP Postgraduate Course
Teaching That Makes Learning Stick
A strong theme in the feedback was the clarity and care with which the teaching was delivered. The structure of the sessions was described as highly effective:
“Pauline would first present a test, then demonstrate it with a volunteer, and then we would move into small groups to practise ourselves.”
This progression from explanation to demonstration to hands-on practice allowed learning to become embodied rather than abstract. Ongoing support during practice was also highlighted:
“During this time, Pauline would walk around the room, offering advice, guidance, and thoughtful suggestions.”
A Transformative Week: Reflections on Module Two of the INPP Postgraduate Course
“One of the most rewarding and interesting professional and personal weeks of my life. I am still buzzing.”
Following Module Two of the INPP Postgraduate Practitioner Course, a trainee reflects on an intensive in-person week focused on practical assessments, professional competence, and reflective learning. Their feedback highlights the clarity, depth, and humanity of the training—describing a carefully structured approach that combines rigorous theory with real-world practice, and a learning environment that supports practitioners from a wide range of professional backgrounds while keeping the needs of children firmly at its heart.
Evidence from the Classroom: The Impact of the INPP Schools Programme in Grade 1
The INPP Schools Programme produced substantial, measurable neuromotor improvements in the group who did the programme when compared with a matched control group.
Six times greater overall improvement
Consistent gains across balance, posture, reflex integration and classroom readiness
Clear links between neuromotor change and learning-related outcomes
For schools seeking to support children’s readiness to learn—academically, physically, and emotionally—this study provides compelling evidence that early neuromotor intervention matters.
